Turn static designs into short, expressive animations to better communicate form, motion, and intent.

When to Animate in Vizcom

Use animation when a still image isn’t enough or to see your design in context. Use animation to show product form from multiple angles, demonstrate interaction, or add motion and depth to a concept presentation. This guide walks you through creating your first animation in Vizcom.

How to use the Animate Block:

1

Add an Animate Block

  • You can add an Animate Block in a few ways
  • Click the + in the Workbench toolbar and select Animate
  • Select an image, open the AI menu, and choose Animate
  • Drag from an image node using the Pathfinder and drop into Animate
  • Once added, the Animate Block becomes the control center for your animation.

Attach Your Frame(s)

  • Animations are driven by images:
  • Start Frame only → creates motion from a single image
  • Start + End Frame → animates a transition between two images
  • Drag your image(s) into the Animate Block to connect them.
Start with one clear frame if you’re new. You can add an end frame later.
3

Choose a Motion Style

Select a camera preset to define how the animation moves:
  • Turntable (360° rotation)
  • Zoom (in or out)
  • Pan (side to side)
  • Tilt (up or down)
Presets can be previewed before generating.
4

Add a prompt (optional)

  • You can guide the animation using a short natural-language prompt.
  • Use prompts to describe:
    • Motion or interaction
    • Environment or context
    • Cinematic feel
Note: Prompts work with or without presets.
5

Set duration & Animation Type

  • **Turbo - **Faster results with more expressive motion (some limitations apply)
Then select your animation length based on what’s available on your plan.
6

Generate the Animation

Click Animate to generate your video.Your animation will:
  • Appear directly in the Workbench
  • Auto-play and loop by default
